  3.      Public Address version 3.03 is not compatible with prior
  4.      versions.  If this is a registered version please refer to the
  5.      instruction sheet on how to run the convert program to convert
  6.      your old Public Address files.  If you have been evaluating a
  7.      prior version of Public Address please refer to the VENDOR.DOC
  8.      file to read about the new features in version 3.03.  When you
  9.      decide to register you will be furnished with the convert
  10.      program.

  12.      INSTALLING PUBLIC ADDRESS

  14.      1)   Copy all the file on this disk to a directory on your
  15.           hard drive or you can run Public Address from this Floppy
  16.           by simply typing PA and pressing your enter key.  I have
  17.           also included a small install program that will create a 
  18.           directory on your C drive named PA and copy all the file 
  19.           from this disk to the directory.  No frills.

  21.      2)   You can print the documentation be typing:  COPY *.DOC
  22.           PRN at the DOS prompt or typing: PRINT *.DOC.  Make sure
  23.           you are in the same drive that Public Address was installed
  24.           to when you do this.

  27.      RUNNING PUBLIC ADDRESS

  29.      1)   Type PA from the drive or directory Public Address was
  30.           installed to.  READ THE MANUAL!!  Read ALL files with the
  31.           extension DOC.  See #2 from above!

  33.      NEW FEATURES SINCE VERSION 3.03

  35.      I added the ability to pick which return address is the
  36.      default from six.  And I also made it so that you can have
  37.      different configurations for your laser printer or dot-matrix
  38.      printer.  I again found a few more tricks to make it run a
  39.      little faster.  I also moved the label number selection from
  40.      the print menu to the configuration menu.  If your printer
  41.      type is "L"aser you will be presented with the laser label
  42.      selection screen otherwise you will get the "D"ot-matrix label
  43.      selection screen.  I have also added the ability for Public 
  44.      Address to assist employers with matching there employees
  45.      for car pooling.  I found a few places where I could stream-line
  46.      the code and this version is in fact, smaller that the last.
  47.      I was also able to make to make it easier at the same time.
  48.      Every time you enter anything in the configuration it will
  49.      automatically turn to upper case.  I also have improved the error
  50.      checking a little too.

  52.      The biggest difference is Public Address not supports tagging and
  53.      copying records from one input file to another.  You can also
  54.      turn off or on auto sorting, and auto duplicate deletion.

  56.      Remember, Shareware is kept alive by YOUR support.  Register
  57.      your Shareware today.  Read the file entitles REGISTER.DOC
